The Liquor Rooms is a cocktail bar located on Wellington Quay. The menu was designed to look and feel like an alchemists notebook using etching style technical illustrations and ornate typography throughout.
We were briefed to design a bespoke brand which would have bright, eye catching packaging, distinct from other packs on the shelves that would stand out to the customer.
The illustrations have been combined with sourcing messages to highlight the provenance of the ingredients being used in the product. Packaging for 20 products was designed as part of the final range.
Coco & Green are a small Irish chain of coffee shops that were looking to update their current identity. The green from "Coco & Green" was used as the base colour for the identity giving an earthy feel to the brand and to express the freshness of the products. The distinctive ampersand and a set of food icons were then combined to create a pattern.
Personal identity for Peter O'Brien. Peter was looking for a bespoke identity for his consultancy service. The design uses a typographic mark combined with a monogram to create a modern and classic look & feel.
Wrights is a seafood and tapas bar. Taking inspiration from marine signal flags a series of bold geometric patterns were developed for the identity. These patterns are pared with a bright fresh colour palette. The nautical theme is carried through to the brand language which uses phrases and idioms associated with sailing and fishing. A secondary mark has been developed which mimics a compass, again tying into the nautical theme.
Hippenings stocks party-ware and gifts for every celebration from birthdays to weddings. The identity was designed to be bright, playful and colourful reflecting the essence of the overall brand.
Chat is a coffee shop & newsagents based in Belfast City Hospital. They were looking to refresh their brand identity to give a more modern feel to their stores.
To tie in with the concept of chat and conversation, typographic marks such as question marks, commas and exclamation marks were used as graphic elements.
The handwritten script typeface is used throughout the brand to bring in a more human element. These are both paired with a bright, fresh colour palette to brighten up an otherwise dull setting.
WeeCOOK provides fun, educational cookery workshops for children. The mark plays on the name by using lower and upper case type. A set of fruit and veg characters were developed to guide the children through each of the recipes and give a playful feel to the brand.
Along with creating the name ‘Juicy Mousse’ an identity was developed which is fun, playful and has a lot of character. A green and cream palette was used to tie in with the Keeling Foods brand and bright colours have then been used to indicate flavour varieties.
The large moose head shape gives a strong proprietary shape for which the packs can become quickly recognisable and so that the pack designs would be very strong and identifiable when stacked on shelf.
Roycroft offer a service that is comparable to a Savile Row tailor, creating made to measure curtains and soft furnishings. The design aimsto give a high end look and feel to the brand, employing a secondary stamp that works as a seal throughout the brand, reinforcing the bespoke aspect of the business.
